I am probably the last to know as per usual, but found out today that if your phone battery is about to die you punch in *3370# then it switches off and restarts and you have 50% battery left.

Apparently this works on all phones and is a built in emergency charge.

Of course Santa exists...... I've seen him on several occasions. :huray:

Another urban myth doing the rounds lately is the petrol station story where a convicted murderer sneaks into the back of an unsuspecting persons car and luckily for them gets caught before killing..
The classic "I woke up with a scar" and found out my kidney had been removed is a favourite too.
There has to be a top 10 of urban myths/legends on the internet I'd imagine!

Have you tried the Beano for your science factoids?

It might be more reliable. :dunno:

Hi,

A while ago my cheap (£5) mobile phone died on me and the battery refused to charge; I was about to bin it but thought I'd browse YouTube for information? Place the dead mobile in the freezer for about an hour and it will charge again; it did.

I used to love reading The Beano and The Dandy but these days my favourite reading is The Screwfix catalogue.

Kind regards, Col.
