Bit of advice...

If you have taped up the light cable and pushed it through into the roof so you can paint the ceiling.

Make sure you don't pull the tape off when pulling it back through...

Mhhh - tingly :thumbright:

Luckily I had the earth, live and neutral all gripped together so the buzz took the shortest route out LOL

I did something similar years ago. We gutted our kitchen to have it rendered and plastered so I took the opportunity to add loads of extra sockets. I routed the cables and just left them loose so the plasterer could do his stuff. One day I brushed my hand across one of the cables, got a tingle off it and couldn't understand why as I'd not connected them to anything except.....ring mains are fed from both ends and the one I touched was one of the existing ones. . Luckily it was me who got the tingle, not the plasterer.
