Am installing a metal stud wall over the next few weeks and just wondering what the difference is between using 50mm and 70mm sections (apart from the obvious 20mm size!!). What are the benefits?

Also, will be instaling OSB board on one side ready for cladding with PVC sheeting. Would normal drywall screws be ok to attach the board to the framework?

Use the drywall to metal screws..finer thread than into wood screws.

70mm will take more insulation (sound, heat) for starters. It is also stiffer than the 50mm stuff, so you can build higher walls with it (or just have stiffer ones the same height)
