I went to just 3 I think - 1 infants, 1 primary, 1 grammer.

Only odd thing for me was before all this "choose your school" stuff came in, there were 4 schools in the catchment area. I have 3 siblings and each of us went to a different school

Hoovie, I was thinking whether we should have a poll on how many schools each member went to. I worked out once that I went to around 10 or so from the age of 5 to 15.

John

Did you move around a fair bit? I bet that's a record.

Yes we did, from Holsworthy in N Devon, Kingsbridge S Devon, Liskeard, Camelford, Fowey in Cornwall and that's just the secondary schools.

Then joined the Royal Navy at 15 as a boy, 5' 2" 102lbs, blue eyed blonde.

You can tell a southerner has set this poll up
3 area's for the south (South West, South East & London and East of England) yet 1 area to cover the whole of the area from Derby northwards :wtf:

You have to blame the Northerner who runs the forum for only allowing nine poll entries, meaning that regions had to be combined.

At least with the three combined Northern regions, it 'looks' like most members are from the North, whereas in reality , the Southern contingent far outnumbers you guys

BTW, the reason I didn't combine the London and South East alone has a bigger population then the whole of the North of England, so wanted to keep the proper balance

Could have combined the 3 southern regions to 'Southern Softies' - or something along those lines
