We went to see Mama Mia, the film. It was great and I knew most of the Abba song lyrics, I wasn't a great Abba fan either. Take your family they'd love it.

Meryl Streep can sing, Pierce Brosnan should stick to acting though. The end was funny and Julie Walters is a laugh.
Karaoke songs!

I liked the one that played Bill (Scandinavian name). The apron scene was funny. I loved the bit where the women jumped into the sea, trouble is that I wanted to boogie and was glued to the seat! Where was it filmed?

a Greek Island?
be careful you don't give to much away! Although there isn;t much of a plot, there IS a storyline.
Why were you glued to your seat? too much popcorn :D
The Play was far better in terms of singing quality, but having a real location rather then a stage set worked well.

Belated birthday wishes! EJJ150847 You should have said something.
Hoovie,
We were in a cinema full of coffin dodgers! They were well behaved, I don't think that dancing would have impressed them to be honest. I was dancing on the inside!

Doesn't he advertise "male beauty products" now? He's no longer James Bond worthy, then again Sean Connery was always the best!

Most of the filming was done on small Greek islands, including Skopelos and Kastani bay and Skiathos and the seaside hamlet of Damouchari in the Pelion area of Greece.
