hi all

i want to get the makita nail gun but im not sure if u can use othe brand of nails and gas such as paslode in it?
if anyone owns one and tell me if its worth buying that would be great!!

Yes it's the same gas & nails as the Paslode and Hitachi.

brilliant, do you own one your self i want to find out from a few people what it is like as i have never seen or herd of anyone using it,

i use my paslode every day and mine had finally lost its life it dome me 6 years now and i fort i would try the makita one!!

Nah I've got the Hitachi one and is serving me well. The Makita one wasn't around when I got mine. Most of my kit is Makita though.

my mate sent his back as didn't think much to it and got a paslode instead

Chippy mate of mine had the Hitachi and said wasn't upto scratch compared with the Paslode.

I am keen to try the Makita one out though.

Servicing has concerned me however as most yards round here are Paslode only pretty much. Two guys who do servicing I've spoken to know paslode very well and are wary of other brands.

I am staunch Makita otherwise
