That is a good price.

Screwfix have the same drill for the same price, but without the accessory kit!

Its ok for DIY not that good for trade work. It has the lowest AH batteries that they do and the accessory kit is cheap and cheerful.

Infact if the batteries had any less power, they may as well have used a triple A with it.

It wasn't 'till you mentioned in in the other thread that I noticed these special deals always come with low Ah batts (not getting to buy new toys that often!)

I believe the £99 screwfix deal on the 18v makita comes with a 3Ah batt - but only one.

The red batteries are 1.3AH so presumed as they were shown in the link above that was what you got.

They do that con all the time and have been doing it for years.
