 Post subject: main water pressure

what would cause the main water pressure to drop coming into my mates flat?

Pressure.

Undersized or damaged pipe.

Heavy load.

he just told me the pressure has dropped from the mains,i was going to pop down tomorrow and see it.i was thinking an air lock or something!

Check the water supplier hasn't reduced the pressure, also the pressure is low most nights because everyones out watering the garden.

They maybe working on the mains up the road somewhere.

Ask at another flat, is perhaps the best starter for 10.

sometimes you cant see the wood for the trees :scratch: eliminate all obvious things then take it from there,cheers again.
