The plunger on my flush has gone "tits up" and i have taken it apart to find that the wire has detatched inside the cistern, now, i can't see how to retatch the wire! i can see where it goes but there seems to be something missing or am i missing something? any help would be appreciated. x

Sorry - couldn't figure out how to show image in post, but you can see it if you click on the link.

this is the cistern with the top off and you can see where the wire comes through and goes between those 2 white bits of plastic(which are cylindrical) but i can't work out how it holds it together? am i missing a part? has it flushed away?

It looks as though it'd broken, common on them

Best get a different type/make, there's a recent thread with the same problem.
