This came with two batteries which charge in less than an hour, it's been in almost daily use for a year for drilling and screwing duties for a major renovation including drilling joists, so some fairly high load stuff for a weedy14.4v drill. I honestly expected to get about a month out of it before it burned out with heavy semi-professional use - not a bit of it - it's still going strong. dunno if this bodes well for the rest of the MacAlister budget stuff but this turned out to be a bargain.
