Anyone running tn the London Marathon this year ?

Well if you are I hope you appreciate all the hard work that makes it possible

Iv'e been out on Blackheath Common again this year all week in the freezing cold,
wind, rain and hailstorms just so you can go for a little 26 odd mile jog

Now on a serious note i would rather work out there all week than run the marathon,
hope all runners do well and have a good day :thumbright:

I will be watching from inside one of the blue start towers, see if i can get some pictures

A guy from the gym runs it every year.

Last time he did it very quickly and must be one of the best runners in this area.

What were you doing on Blackheath common?

Hi Chez

Iv'e been working on the marathon every year for the last 9 years, ply decking BBC platforms,
cladding the start towers, banners and all sorts for a scaffolding company that i also used to do
work for at the old Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena when there was a concert on ( they used to be a good crack)
I do like a bit of variety of work, makes a nice change from a bit of joinery or refurb work hence the name Tryanything
