How do you put a webcam live on your website?

This programme http://www.tincam.com/index.php was recommended in computer active, and it looks like it does everything you would need to get the picture on a web page. Any others?

Next, the camera. Its 40 meter from the camera site to the computer, and computer is located in middle of house. How do you get the picture to the computer? Very long lead? Wireless?

And can you connect something like this
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... 4&doy=21m2
to a computer? How do you do this?

Thanks

I'm trying to have all the correct info, so I can tell my friend how to set up a 'red squirrel cam' in the grounds of his bnb, and have it on his website. He has a few running about, and people seem interested in the 'red rats' for some reason.

But squirrels aren't going to pose in one place just because a webcam is on, so can the camera be moved by the watcher?

they go to the same tree all the time as there's a feeder on it, hence, have the camera pointing at the feeder.........do you think I'm daft or something

Its the tree across from where people sit for breakfast, so some guests spot them

Didn't suggest it! Mind reading isn't one of my abilities! Probably work then if they have a feeder.
