How do i fit a light with 3 terminal positons to a house with a ring main?

You'll need an additional piece of electrical connector, put all the lives in there, (Red old colours/ brown new) you'll then have 2 x neutrals (Black old colours/blue new) these go to the neutral on the new light.

You'll be left with a switched live (Black/blue, which should have a sleeve, though it may not) this goes to the live on your new fitting.

Earths to the earth on the fitting.

Just to be correct here you do not have a ring main at your light , well i hop not anyways. What you have is a lighting circuit and if you look on the videos section here it will tell you and show you exactly how to connect your new light up safeley and correctly .
