I watched this new Ricky Gervais show which is a mocumentary following Warwick Davis who is a dwarf. I can see where they are trying to get the laughs but somehow it fell flat with me. Even the Liam Neeson bit, which was intentionally a sagebrush blowing and church bell moment, failed to make me chuckle.

I quite enjoy Karl Pilkington on his idiot abroad ventures and the hidden value in this is getting a realistic and perhaps cynical view of the 'once in a lifetime experiences' that you hear about.

Perhaps the irony in RG's humour is a bit tired.

I can't watch ANYTHING with RG in. He's so smug it makes my skin crawl. I can only imagine that he has a chourus of laughter in his head, which inspires him to keep inflicting himself on the TV viewing polulation.

Gervais used to have a show on Greater London Radio.....GLR, Karl Pilkington was the sound engineer. In the end he got sacked for swearing on air too much. Brilliantly, every DJ invited him on as a guest for the next couple of days after his sacking!
