Nice one boxedin. as a result I visited Lidl and bought a new grill/griddle (bit like a george foreman grill but more versatile)

My old one had died about 5 months ago and I've been looking for a decent replacement since then.

Funny you should mention Lidl and Ireland. On another forum a poster from Ireland has pointed out that their local Lidl is currently selling solar powered mole repellants . All well and good except that Ireland doesn't have any moles. Likewise he also mentioned that a few years ago they were also selling bare rooted fruit trees in April when at that time of year fruit trees have already blossomed. Perhaps a little more research is needed.

They can have a few of my moles if they like! Little beggars are getting more prevalent here.
Then they'll be able to buy the mole repellent things. . .
