His reply should include "And as I have no insurance (cause I can't afford it on my rates), if I damage something, hopefully not too expensive, then tough titty matey".

£3.75/hour doesn't leave a lot of breathing space does it? I wonder if he brings the gear round on a bicycle? Image

I'm watching Saints and Scroungers (while I work) and I'm thinking I should be!!!!!

Just got our local ad mag and seen a decorator advertising that he will paint a 12ft by 12ft room ceiling / walls 2 coats for £99 not including materials :tool:

It's theoretically possible to emulsion a 12' x 12' room in one day , assuming same colour on ceilings and no filling or rubbing down required. £99 per day is more than some decorators earn.

Yeah that's not a very big space really. Id work for that locally if it was a job a could fit in to finish my week off with.
