| Just bought a Bosch battery-powered detail sander (working on an upstairs window frame and fed up with having to trail wires around the place) and a B&D impact driver (wished I'd had one when I tried to remove the hinges on aforementioned window) |

| Just bought a Biscuit Jointer from Aldi!, due to infrequent use I could not justify a branded make, only cost £20 and saves setting up the cutter in the router as I have done up 'til now |

I've never owned any chisels in the past - apart from ones that probably came out of a Xmas cracker - and I've got a few doors to hang soon (money permitting) so I will find out if they are any good.
Might need to by a new plane, only got a Stanley one from about 20 years ago |

remember to always keep your hand behind the cutting edge. and it doesnt hurt straight away.
they will be fine. ive got some of those myself and theyve hung a few doors.
I always just use a block plane for doors. mines a stanley block plane. thats fine too about £40 ish. dont buy a cheapo one. |

I suspect I've got a bench plane so maybe its time to invest in something smaller (block plane) - just don't tell the missus |

I thought about the fat max 5 piece set but couldn't justify the price for the amount I'll use them |
