Need to do a bit of gardening now. Never had a garden with growing stuff in it before, other than a patch of grass about 6' square
Bought a spade, hand trowel and hand fork, and a pair of Wilkinson sword shears today _________________ Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? |

don't knock it... Erbauer 10" mitre saw cost £49. Will do just the job I need for half the price. I was leaning towards the Makita MLS100 but couldn't justify the extra £50 as its not going to be used everyday. I expect it to last me 2 years but I will take it back after 18Months and get another new one on warranty! |

Virtually completed my collection of power tools this week with a Ryobi 14 inch petrol chainsaw, makita 4inch grinder & skil hammer drill with rotary stop....
Loving em all, would marry the chainsaw it saves hours & hours when cutting 12 x 3 joists ...... _________________ Accrington Stanley - the Club that wouldn't Die |

First time out yesterday, i broke the new spade.
Took it back today, upgraded to a spear and jackson stainless steel jobbie instead or a straight replacement. _________________ Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? |

Bought myself another welder yesterday, a heavy oil cooled stick welder.
Old fashioned, but nice to use, as long as you dont need to move it about a lot! _________________ Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? |

I did a bit of welding at work last week and really enjoyed it with the 3 phase arc welder and auto darkening head shield _________________ DIY | DIY Video |

Its a 150, so will run from a 13 amp supply relatively untroubled.
Probably similar to the one you were using Chez, just a fair bit smaller.
A lot of people call them Oxford welders, thats a brand name.
Duty cycle will be very high, and build quality is very heavy. Can be used as a basis for a TIG setup with the addition of a box of tricks. _________________ Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? |

I was watching some Tig welding today at Training2000 as I have been on a turning course all week and made some components for work, which needed welding. Tig is very impressive _________________ DIY | DIY Video |
