These are the last two bathrooms done in the last year. Not ideal for pics as small areas.

I did all work on both of them apart from the electrics. I set out for lights on both as you just don't trust an electrician with that sort of detail lol.

Second bathroom has new ceiling taped and jointed, two towel rails, his and hers at request lol. Detail for tile edges around window was a collaboration as he hates trim and quadrant tiles......so it was grouted at 45 angle. Looks ok actually and had three other clients ask for it.

First bathroom has new dropped MF ceiling again taped and jointed. Silicon joints to internal corners, wall to floor, wall to ceiling etc.

Neat!

A question: Why do these tubular towel rails have only 3 fixings? One of my two rails came with 4 so I used them. Very rigid, compared with the one I fixed with 3.

Hmmmm why three fixings? haven't a clue. Probably because that is what the manufacturer deems they need.

Three fixing points are plenty. You could use those to climb up and get into the loft if there was a hatch above them lol. (Well i wouldn't try it but you get the point).

well done, good to see.

Looks a lot neater when rad tails head into the wall rather than the floor. I should have thought of that,l when i did mine

I went the same and siliconed the internal corners. Gives me more confidence is waterproofing the floor

Hi Hollywood

the client supplied all the bathroom fittings and tiles. I prefer to work that way because then they actually know it is the exact bath etc that they want.

Nice work mate

I have just moved in to a new house (1880's cottage) in Paddock Wood area

The bathroom needs gutting and replacing.. I was thinking of getting a wetroom fitted.. alongside a bath

are they easy to install? have you any pics of your jobs with a wet room fitted??

could be some work in it for you

cheers

Dave

To put it simply, yes they are easyish to install if you have done them but they are hard if you haven't and also don't have much of an idea.

You can have a bath in a wetroom. Not all wetrooms are open all areas. We have done them with raised shower areas and level shower areas behind glass.

Waste water isn't a problem because if you can't get the fall, then you can use a pump to get rid of it. £500 plus for pump plus fitting but well worth it to get finished article.

Haven't got any pics as all the ones I have been involved on have been on a sub-contract basis. I rarely take pics of sub-contract jobs because it isn't my work, so to speak.

I could probably get reference from client though.
