Hi,

You could either let the R/H trim into the timber or pack out the L/H side.

You need need to follow the wall and frame by using internal and then an external mitre.

Put a mitre on the end of the left hand bead and on the end of the right hand bead. Now cut a short length of bead with an internal mitre one end and an external on the other end. This will tie in the two long lengths.

im with roc on this one, mitre it round

on the pic it looks like archtrave? if so it would have been better undercut and the floor slid under and the beading finished with a return mitre

If thats architrave then that beading is going right through the doorway???????
Or is there a timber carpet step - if so I would have removed the step, extend the flooring under and refit/fit new step.
