If it's obvious that one side is meant to be facing upwards then I think they should rectify the issue at their cost. Do you have a pic of the wrong vs right side for comparison?

I think you have to accept a portion of the blame here, if you buy a double sided top and then don't make 100% sure that they know which side is up before they start cutting it, then I think you are partly at fault.


They had a print out of the design in colour and it clearly shows it as grey. Also, I didn't know the worktop was double sided.
