I am tiling my kitchen and would be greatful if someone could advise on what is recomended with regards the border tiles that but up either side of the wall cabinets...is it necessary to use a tile spacer between the border tile and the kitchen unit...or can I just butt up to the wall cabinet. Imagine a typical kitchen with the cooker sited between 2 wall units and it this internal gap I refer to! Hope this is a little clearer than my previous post. Thanks!

It is good practice to leave an expansion gap, especially near a cooker.
You can fill the gap with some good quality silicone _________________ DIY | DIY Video |

I would leave a grout line next to the cabinets, then grout it and then silicone over the top _________________ Decking |
