Ever get that feeling you wished you did something different well im having another one of those feelings 6 years after the original event.

We had a new kitchen fitted or rather semi fitted with me deciding to do the finishing ::b

Anyways we already had a freestanding slimline dishwasher so that sits under the worktop but as you can imagine it has become a dirt trap and also looks rubbish if im being totally honest.
Now is it possible to do away with the freestannding and swap to an integrated?

If so how do integrated one fit do they slide into a basic base unit or do they free stand and get screwed back to batons (excuse my dumbness here please)

Thanks.
Graham.

Ummm been trawling the net and think i might be a bit dumb.
Are they a free standing thing that sit back far for a plinth to fit and then add a door to make them look integrated?

yes pretty much. theres a thin panel on the top that can be screwed into the work top.

i take it the opening in your kitchen is 500mm? as the dishwasher will be 495mm

you possibly will have to adjust the waste somewhat to get it in depending how deep the machine is. (if the waste is behind the current machine)

Current waste runs to cupboard under the sink so might need an entry hole redrilling and current free standing dishwasher is 450 wide approx space of 520 available

Depending on the kitchen range and who it's from you may be able to get a 450 door.
