Nice job. Might have looked a little better with a black band around the pipes to coincide with the quadrant tiles.

NEXT STEP: RSJ slotted into place and shimmed up nice and tight in it's new home... The vertical pencil shaded in area on the wall is an adjacent wall behind this one running in the other direction: Attachment:

Toothed out wall cut nice and true with 9" disc cutter (never again, still spitting out brick dust even now)!  Attachment:

All tiles removed from walls, ceilings batterned in preparation for cladding and lighting cable run to proposed downlighter positions...Oh and all units and old sink removed : Attachment:

Next mission: Doorway to the old toilet need to go... Door removed, bricks toothed out, step removed and wooden door frame cut for now! Attachment:

Your brickwork looks damn good to me especially for a first attempt - great job! I did some bricklaying doing our kitchen and found it soul destroying... how can something that looks so easy be so hard? And cement is an absolute dog to work with. It all came good in the end though.
