Well, Ive started on the kitchen, Im making the units one by one, then Im going to fit the wall units then start on the bases.
This is the only way I can do it to minimise disruption to the household! (Its my house!)

18mm Carcasses, 1 3/4" Carcass screws, 8mm TGV back recessed. First ever time with a router too!

Sorry about the poor photo, it was off my phone!

Ah right, I was pooping myself there! I am going to hang them on those brackety things! Seems I will have more adjustment to account for my post Xmas induced hazy work!

Im going to go to my local Johnsons paint man and get my paint mixed up courtesy of Harrow & Ball colours chart!!

looking good so far. :thumbright:
make sure you keep checking for square as you are building or you could come into problems fitting the door
what type of doors are you having overlay or faceframe?

Face frame, I love the traditional look they give, the doors are going to be 2x1 inset with TGV. I am checking squareness when putting the backs on, if it's out I'm squaring up with a clamp before adding the back panel to hold it!

Looks nice. What are you going to do about the screws showing on end units though? Maybe some made up clad on end panels would look nice.

If you have the space you'd be better off making up a false end panel to cover the ends of the carcasses - something like 12mm T&G MDF with 6mm overlaid to make up either pillasters or a frame. the face frame can either sit inside this or overlay it
