Other day had an email to say updates available for sat nav, plugged in, waited a while, sat nav said all updates done (So I thought)
Went out today sat nav has lost sat signal (Which is worse than it was before) came home plugged sat nav back in to pc, it powered up but pc can't see it, tried sat nav original cable, all updates installed sat nav working as it should.

Yes I know you get "not as good" generic cables but it seems odd that the generic cable will work with other devices that have a micro usb socket no problem, but not my tomtom sat nav.
Oh well. I should have thought, I could have taken this laptop to the car sat in the car, and updated it from the drivers seat, I am starting to like this laptop even more. :thumbright:
