Greetings all!

Just signed up to the forums. Hoping to seek advice, guidance and maybe some new friends along the way.

I’ve only been in Construction since February 2018 so I’m still very new and learning a lot each day. I was a Baker for 10 years before I decided I wanted a change. I used to work for my father-in-law on my days off from Baking, who was a Painter. I did that for about two years so I had some insight into the world of working on site with other trades.

I met a nice enough person who took me on for a full-time job and was willing to put me through college to study Carpentry but with some extra benefits such as;- Company Van, General Labour’s pay (which was a bonus considering I would of been on ALOT less on an Apprenticeship course), full pay for college days.

I think that’s sums it up for now. Thanks for reading. See you around the forums!

Troy
