If you are bored, you can watch today's (11 Oct 2017) ITV judge Rinder, first episode starting 14:00 hours. A £250 quote to gloss, emulsion, and wallpaper 3 rooms ... and then it takes an unexpected turn. Since we can't have a Certainfield Town Forum that is an alternative and I just managed to stay awaken despite lunch.

I've just watched that on catch up... I''d never watched Judge Rinder before (except on strictly come dancing)

What a load of pants... Woman expects a 3 room bungalow deccyd top to bottom for £250. does a deal for £200 on some old knackered car in exchange for the decorating

then tries to add £650 to the bill for the (so called) decorator that actually did the job? Mental.

Lad tries to counter sue for £1500 for loss of business????????

That's more mental than a friday night out in Newcastle.

It seemed that the deccy agreed £200 for the car + £50 payment. Took the car before he started the decorating and the car promptly packed up. So he did not go to the decorating ... she wanted the £200 back + £650 for getting another decorator in. Cobblers, but it serves right the idiot who was happy to do some job blind for £250.

But £650 for the bungalow would be too f3cking low anyway, Might get 2 rooms done not three.. :dunno:

She would get someone else to do it for £250 and keep the rest of the money. She only got her car money back, so in effect she sold a car for £200.

She got what she deserved. I can't decide who's worse. Her or him.

I watched this as well..The amount of work that needed to be done for that price shocked me..He did say 'I like to help people out'.i put it down to his age.Even the other decorator only charged £650 which is also very cheap.
On tuesday there was another decorator on judge Rinder which is worth a watch as well.

They were both as bad as each other. The young lad may have been moonlighting a bit ;-) but say 5 days work at £50 per day may not have been that bad in his mind.

The one on Tuesdays programme was a right muppet. Takes a loan to expand his business then goes on holiday whilst subcontractors do the work.. :?

I've just watched it!

What an absolute chancer.

I don't think he even had a job to finance. That was to pay for his holiday to Cuba.

Just seen the one with the decorator, car and bungalow.

What a smashing example of the black economy at work.

Poor guy had to "close his business" due to the defamation of his character, but in reality he's probably not even registered with the taxman, and going by those prices he'd be far better off taking a job with a firm. . . If he really is a decorator.

Not even worthy of the airtime.
