Hello
I`m unable to isolate the inlet water supply`s to the shower.
I can reach 1 of the valves (the red one on the black tank that`s above the cylinder) but the other one is in such a position that it`s impossible to reach/grip to turn it off, It`s behind the blue cylinder.
Can I get round this buy turning the water off at the mains, then run the hot and cold taps to empty the system to change the thermostatic cartridge on the shower ?
We live in a flat so all`s on one level
The boiler is Worcester Greenstar 24 ri
http://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/homeow ... nstar-24ri
which is situated in the kitchen.
Thanks for any advice
Kim

ys you could turn the mains off and run the storage tank out.

To save the hot water just open the tank cold taps

Yes thats the one.

The cold connection is lower in the tank than the hot so if you open just the cold taps you will keep the hot water in the cylinder.

Ok you may have to drain a little bit when the cold stops.

Looks like a good plan :thumbright:

Make sure you isolate the sparky bits first.
