Hi
I'm planning on changing my ceiling light fittings in my new home and I'm a little unsure whether it is illegal for me to carry out the work myself ? This will not involve me adding any new wiring, just a simple change of old for new.

I plan on using wago lever and lighting connectors to make the connections, are these ok to use in the uk

Not illegal at all...unless you are using IKEA fittings...in which case it should be...be aware that that fittings in the bathroom must be IP rated (Depending on the zone) and if you are not confident take pics of wiring before and post them on here...

Just to add Wango connectors are perfectly fine to use :)
