I've seen both used but I'm wondering which would be best? Or which your supposed to use.

If it makes no odds then I'd prefer to use grout.

silicone as the walls will move, gaurenteed!!! theres a thread about getting decent clean bead on here somewhere!

Ok, thanks. The walls will move??? Double skin breeze block built 1950's - will they really move?!?

Tiles expand and contract, as do most building materials.

Internal corners are done with silicone and not grout. grout can crack, although it will not always crack. It isn't worth the risk.

In a kitchen where you are maybe only 4 tiles high I would grout, but in an area of floor - celing height tiles I would always silicone.
