Hi all

I'm starting up on my own and wondering who is best to go with for insurance.

Appreciate some suggestions and roughly how much it costs.

How much it costs has lots of variables such as what cover you are looking for, who is covered, where you will be working, will you be at height etc, etc, best ask the broker, since any one else is just guessing. Always remember to compare like with like, not like with similar.

Fret not, a forum is a collection of opinions. Above, are mine.

Which is correct? Metre or Meter? Click the link to find out more.

Working on anything electrical? have you got a multi meter? why not? Would you hit a nail with a shoe?

If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

You don't actually say what type of insurance you are looking for, I assume public liability ?

I've been with these for some years

Reasonable prices, you can get a quote for free, I think mine was about £125 last year as a sole trader which included professional indemnity insurance and tool cover.
