Hi I'm thinking of insulating the ceilings of my downstairs rooms as I complete a total renovation. What product is best for this as there is a great difference in price and product types. Would the polystyrene type be ok, or would standard loft type insulation be better? Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,
Loft insulation between the joists would do fine.
