where is the best place to buy cartridges? I normally use inkcycle for re-manufactured cartridges but they are out of HP 78's

Cartridge Monkey. Scroll down the list for the remanufactured ones.
I use their reman. carts for my Photosmart C4580 and they are good.
Order on line this weekend, should be with you on Wednesday/Thursday.

Might be to late as it looks like you have bought them, however for future reference
I have used Dead Link removed by admin for years for all my Epson photo printers,I buy the thinkjet cartridges and find them excellent value for money

I have an HP printer.

I have always used original HP cartridges.

I always get them from Find My Supplies

So far I have never been able to source cheaper original cartridges.

Printers and wireless networks, two of the most unreliable technologies ever invented IMO  ::b

I've never understood my Epson printer, black, magenta, yellow and cyan cartridges...if the black goes it gives the option of mixing black from the 3 colours...but if one of the colours is empty you can't even print black on a white page.. :dunno:
