Hi all!

Just thought I’d give you all a quick update on what’s been happening so far - because I know you have all been loosing sleep over my kitchen! Ha ha!

First of all I would like to say Thankyou for all your responses! They have been much appreciated!

Secondly, here is a short video explaining it all!

What did you say at the very end of the film for the front of the house? Are you having the same problems at the front?

No not really, it was more of a extension of the truth. I always try and end a video with something funny/disastrous!
Basically a few years ago I slapped on a quick coat of paint on the small wall at the front of our house but it suddenly rained before the paint dried properly. So when it did dry...it trapped all the moisture in! So now just on the top sandstone bricks you get these funny looking stains coming through. Basically I need to strip it off and let the sandstone dry out but not going to even think about that now with all the rain we’ve had. I’ll just look into it next summer!!
I did actually strip it back down to the original sandstone this summer thinking it was old/gone off paint making the marks so didn’t leave it to dry out properly before repainting! The front is actually fine though! Just the top of the sand stone that’s all!
