yep, me again
while partitioning a hallway off im about ready for fittin a light into new hallway, my spark told me where to run wires in stud wall and which wires to run, but gettin impatient wondered if its something i could have a crack at myself while i have floorboards up etc.....
basically he told me to run 2 lengths of 1.5mm t and e from proposed light switch to proposed light fitting and wait for him, so i done that and wanna have a crack myself rather than wait a week for my spark... is it something to be attempted or should i just leave it.
thanks all

There are guides on this site and others. But if your not able to follow those guides then really you need to wait for your electrician.

Main point is to mark all the wires. Specially the return from switch which may be neutral colour even though it's a line wire. So will need marking with a sleeve or tape.

cheers guys
had a good look at the wiring diagrams and i can follow them, but its left me confused as to why my spark has told me to run 2 lengths of t and e from proposed switch to proposed new light fitting, if he'd o said run one length from switch to new light and one from junction box to new light fitting i think i'd understand but i doubt he's made a mistake so i'll wait for mr spark.... got a new cu coming anyway so not sure if this will affect how i its wired anyway.
got a zillion other things to be goin on with anyway!!
thanks again
