Just lately, at random, when I import a cd to i-tunes it seems to split the cd into about 3 or 4 cd's with a few tracks in each, rather than one complete album.

I have the latest updates etc all installed.

Is there a way to merge these back to one album, or a setting that has become 'undone', because if there is I'm buggered if I can find it :cussing: ::b

I've had a similar problem myself. From memory, you need to select a group of tracks, right click and choose something like Get Info, or Update Info. You can then manually enter the album name. Give each group of tracks the same album name and they'll be grouped together.

Once again, many thanks.

Worked perfectly, but still don't know why it selects albums at random to do this with :?

Normally this happens when there is more than one artist listed for particular tracks, check the artist info as well as the album name,

No, just complete albums.

It's all been fine since I done as CTR suggested and the latest ones I imported yesterday both had no problems at all.
