hi guys
this is my last resort
i own an HP Pavilion HDX9160EA Notebook PC that came out on vista 32bit
i bought windows 7 ultimate N 64bit and did the custom install
ive managed to find all the drivers apart from 1
this is for the inbuilt tv card made by aver
the laptop is only a few years old and at a cost of nearly £2000 i cannot believe hp are not supporting windows 7 for this product
ive tried aver theirselves but am getting nowhere i dont really want to just keep downloading drivers in the hope that one might work or just get rid of the yellow question mark in device manager
all ive got to go on is USB\VID_07CA&PID_A301&REV_0106
ive tried pcidatabase and a few others but so far no luck
ive typed it in google but only came up with german/chinese websites
any help with this issue would be much appriciated

This is for a different laptop model and Vista x64, rather than Windows 7, but it's worth a try http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-52823-1&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3467436&os=2093&lang=en

If al else fails then a USB TV adaptor is about the only route you can take.

What is the problem? Is the display not showing at a watchable resolution / or is otherwise looks bad? Or are you trying to watch tv on it?
