Hi,

How do I unhinge (remove) a upcv door from it's frame?

The hinges are like the picture attached - they have a lateral adjustment.

Viewed from the top, there is no alan key socket, but the top of a plastic 'spike' which I am guessing is part of the hinge and the door sits on this.

Do I 'jack' the door up to lift it of its hinges? (there are 3 hinges)

Thanks
hatter.

unclip the plastic covering the flat section and you should find 2 or 3 bolts to remove the hinge 'you somtimes have to loosten the bolts to adjust the hinge with the allen[hex] key

lightly wedge the door in the centre underneath before loostening the hinges

do not turn the hex bolts whilst removing the door they can be used to adjust the door when refitting

You can lift it up off hinges, easy to do on your own, easier if somebody helps putting it back though.

This is providing you have enough clearance at the top.

Going to have to take mine off soon to do some painting as theres not much room hinge side.
