| I have just put a new Quinn radiator on in my bedroom but there doesnt appear to be a bleed valve on it so the bottom of the radiator is nice and warm but the top is al ittle cold....how do i go about gettign the air out? and is it right for a radiator not to have a bleed valve? Thank you. |

Hi colin,
does it have a blanking plug like this-
If it does you could use that, just open it slightly with a suitable spanner and then nip it back up when the water hits it.
Ideally if you have one of those you could replace one of them with one of these-
This will make it much easier to bleed in future.
Here is the how to page, for people with bleed valves-

Quinn radiators used to be Barlo radiators, if it is a roll-top type the bleed nipple is top right inside the roll-top _________________ Stella Stella Stella oy oy oy |
