Both that site and the link to your other site in your email will be added to the words censor. As spam goes that was a poor attempt :tool:

Most electricians learn their trade through electrician apprenticeship programs. These apprentice programs combine on-the-job electrician training with in depth classroom instruction on the duties of an electrician. Electrician apprenticeship programs may be sponsored by joint training committees made up of local electrician unions of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and local union chapters of the National Electrical Contractors Association; company management committees of individual electrical contracting companies; or local chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors and the Independent Electrical Contractors Association. Because of the comprehensive training received during the electrician apprentice program, those who complete apprenticeship programs qualify to do both maintenance and construction work as electricians.

Another link to add to the word censor :thumbright:

Hi
Or you can take a course in electrical installation for three or four years at your college the 2330 is where to start during which time getting practical experience is a must !! then you need the 17 th edition with the latest amendments then you need some knowledge of inspection and testing, which really helps. getting practical experience is by far the most important aspect as all the qualifications under the sun won't prepare you for the real world. oh you need an ECS (CSCS) card to work on almost all building sites. i think its cost me about £4K so far..
trust me ive been there done some of it and got a filthy tshirt to boot. xx

if i were you id become a plummer a lot less hastle ( so ive been told )

Plumber............water, gas, unvented certification, gas safe, WRAS, etc etc.

Carpenter/joiner.......high standard of education to start, hence why the most intelligent are in this trade.

One of the electricians which I use, to be serious now, his apprentice has to do 3 years of college with site work and then a fourth year which is site based and needs to be logged and a portfolio completed.

Then of course you can add to that and do what my step-brother did and study for an HND, then earn a fortune.
