I install a hard epoxy-resin shower tray about 2 years ago. That is I think it is epoxy-resin with stone powder or something.

Some bright spark has used acid to unblock the U bend and in so doing ruined the surface of the shower tray which is now grey instead of white. Is there a simply way of re-surfacing it?

It sounds like it needs re-enamelling but you have to carefully weigh up the cost of doing this against replacing the tray. I would think it is pretty close cost wise. Here is a link to a kit http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/jaeger-ii-w ... 1852-17160 to give you an idea but this kit is for an enamel bath and might not suit your tray. Whether this will turn out as good as you would like I do not know but to get a pro to do it would probably not be cost effective.

So I would say carefully check out the costs first :thumbright:

I would try something like car "Colourback" and see what happens.

A pic would be good, but in any case enamel would not be the right stuff.
