Hi. The hot tap in the bathroom sink makes a fairly big noise when it's turned on. This stated quite a while ago but has recently become louder and happens every time. The only thing which seems to stop it is if I put the tap on fully or if I put the bath tap on at the same time. (I have a combi boiler) Any suggestions? thanks

If they are old taps it's probably the worm screw that needs a clean and grease.
Bit more details and a pic perhaps please.

Is it a washer tap or quarter turn. ?
Turn the water off and remove the body, Perhaps post a pic showing the inside bits.
Looks like an old heritage, be a lot more that 4-5 though

I have a feeling it might not be the actual tap. If I put the cold water tap on at the same time the noise almost completely disappears!?
