Hi

I hope you are all well and can help me with a question I have please.

I currently have upvc window hinges failing all around the house. I have measured the size of the hinges and they are side hung, 10inch and stack of 13mm. Most websites I have looked at online to buy this Size of a hinge seems to be for top hung Windows only apart from amazon where there are a limited amount of side hung hinges at this Size. Could I replace the 10inch hinges with 12 inch Hinges or do I have to get the 10inch hinges?

Thanks in advance

First of all :welcome:
I have used this site before and a couple of times I’ve phoned them up with a query and they have been very helpful.

Thanks Mike and thank you for the welcome. I'll try the website you suggested.

I am no expert, merely an innocent bystander, but isn't the size simply the length of the two arms? So as long as your casement is more than 12" wide, you just have to drill new holes.

???????? :dunno:
