Hi - Ive just joined this site and am a novice to diy. I am a part-time art and design lecturer and part-time artist (painting and drawing). Im going to attempt to replace my horrible old bathroom basin and toilet and ugly old pipework with new ones and after looking at this site and all the brilliant easy to understand info I think I can do it! Im hoping to put photos of this project on here and get more advice before I go and buy the materials. Cheers for a great site!  |

Thanks ultimatehandyman. My partner and family think Im crazy to attempt messing about with plumbing (me being a middle aged woman etc) - but Im looking forward to the challenge.  |

It's not that difficult and there are some great items out there on the market to make things easier for us diy'ers
