Hello All.
Found this site via a link from the Screwfix forum - lot of good varied stuff and picked up lots of useful tips already - hope I can reciprocate in the future with what little wisdom I still have!

Went self employed 4 years ago as a "General Handyman" after 30 years of nursing - best move I ever made. Always been interested in DIY and laboured on sites whenever I could - learning all the way. Business has been great from day 1, never had to advertise - all my referrals being word of mouth. Gradually taking on bigger jobs, love restoration work - joinery, plastering, decorating, tiling etc. As long as its in my comfort zone I'll tackle it! My wife came into partnership with me a year ago and lifes looking good.

NEVER STOP LEARNING! :grin:
