Hi

I've already posted on the electric forum, but it was suggested I post here as well to introduce myself.

My Name is Rob, and I live in York. We bought our first house about 18 months ago, but luckily we haven't had too much to do to it!

I like to think I'm fairly handy, and have helped my dad with all sorts of DIY since a young age. I'm by no means an expert on anything though!

I work from home (I'm a web developer), and we're in the process of putting in a log cabin in the back garden for me to use as an office. So far we've put down a concrete base (that was hard work and quite a learning curve - couldn't get access for readymix so had to mix over 2 cubic metres of concrete ourselves - and had to pick up 1.5T extra ballast from B&Q half way through!).

The cabin arrives next weekend and we'll install it, and hopefully get most of the electrics done as well.

That's about it on the DIY front for now. If anyone wants to know more let me know.
