:dunno: just moved in never used electric heaters trying to set heating so run cheap setting .No idea whats winter setting and where dial should be now anyone help Im cracking up

Good news you can safely ignore that setting most of the time. It's just to indicate the difference between BST (British summer time) to GMT (Greenwich mean time) So 4pm summer time will be 5pm winter time on your dial.

I'm assuming this is a recent pic taken at 5PM..

The only time you'll need to reset it is after a power cut. then you just reset by turning the knob to the correct time.
