Can anyone help me out?

I've just fitted a replacement Stelrad radiator. I used PTFE tape on the lockshield valve tail into the radiator.

It's leaking drip by drip.

So I thought maybe Gas PTFE tape would work better, but with just 1 turn of it on the tail it wont wind completely into the radiator, only about half the tape width goes in then the tail just continues to wind in without pulling the tape in as well.

Anyone any suggestions? Does this 'Jet Blue Plus' paste work & how much of it do you use? Does it have to 'cure' before it seals & before you can fill the radiator?

Any advice gratefully received

Frank
