Hello Ive got a 37lf65 lcd tv. The tv switched on and works fine the picture as it should. Then after 30 seconds or so it will start clicking or poping sounds then the screen goes blank. But the tv stays on the green light but then no sound or picture.

If I switch the tv on and of it will work fine but then do the samething again. But will do it more faster when it gets warmer.

Ive tried anther mains cable but its still the same problem.

Just wandering is this the part needed power board or something else gone?

thanks pete

Power supply problems are the first areas of trouble. Do a Google search for the make/model to see if the fault symptoms are recognised.

Ebay is a good place for spares but any 'difficult' repair is usually resolved by getting a new set.

BTW, how long ago did you purchase it? Your consumer right to a working product usually extends past the guarantee offered when the purchase is made - specifically you could be entitled to a 5 year warranty.....

On the link below they do a test to see if the power supply board working. That might be worth cause they let you know.

Ive looked at the power board everything seems fine. But the person on the link said they can test it. If its working fine there just a £10 charge which includes postage back to me.

If faulty I just buy anther board with out the charge.

What you recon?

Yes there afew but they charge alot more then £10 to test it. Thats why I thought £10 to test it and postage back if fine was cheap enough to have it looked at.

Also if faulty I dont pay the charge just buy the board.

Model LG 37LF65

Fair enough but have a look at the feed back on the E-bay chap and then make an informed decision, according to some he is excellent other's are disappointed, you pay's your money and takes the chance.

Just anther update I left the tv of all night and unplugged. Just plugged in back in the Tv stayed on for 25mins also the room cool with the window open. Once it got warm it started again. Switch it back on and it would go of within 30 seconds.

So this is deffo a heat related power board problem now?
